These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Cregsta ("Cregsta", "we", "us") about the mobile game Gammon Café (the "Game"). By downloading or playing the Game you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't play. If you downloaded the Game from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
The Game
Gammon Café is an online board game where you play backgammon variants (Tavla, Classic Backgammon, Narde, Plakoto and Fevga) against other players and computer opponents. When no other player is available, your opponent may be a computer player.
Your account
- The Game creates a guest account on your device the first time you play. You can link it to Sign in with Apple or Google so you can restore it on another device. An account that is not linked is lost if you delete the app or lose your device, and we cannot recover it.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to play. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission, especially for purchases.
- Keep your account to yourself. Don't sell, share or transfer it, and don't use another player's account.
Coins, gems and virtual items
- The Game has in-game currencies (coins and gems) and other virtual items such as cosmetics, VIP and the season pass. You can earn them by playing, and some can be bought with real money (coin and gem packs, offers, VIP and the season pass).
- Coins and gems have no real-money value. They can't be exchanged for money, sold, transferred between players or cashed out, and no game ever pays out real money or anything of value outside the Game. Staking coins on a table is part of the game, not gambling. Doing well at this game doesn't mean you will do well at real-money gambling.
- Virtual items are licensed to you for use in the Game; you don't own them. We may change, rebalance or remove them, but we won't take away something you bought without a valid reason (such as a refund or a breach of these Terms).
- Purchases are delivered to the account you are signed in to when you buy. If something you bought did not arrive, use Settings › Account › Restore purchases or contact us.
- If a purchase is refunded by Apple or Google, we remove what it gave. If you already spent the coins or gems, the remaining amount is deducted from your next purchase.
- Except where the law gives you a right to a refund, purchases are final. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
VIP subscription
VIP is an auto-renewing subscription (weekly or monthly). Its price and benefits are shown in the Game before you buy. It renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends. You manage and cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting the app or your game account does not cancel it.
Ads
The Game shows ads served by Google AdMob: rewarded videos you choose to watch for a reward, and occasionally a full-screen ad between games. Rewards for videos are limited per day. VIP members don't see the full-screen ads.
Fair play
Dice are rolled by our server and every game publishes proof that the rolls were fixed before the game started, so anyone can check them. You agree not to:
- use cheats, bots, automation, modified apps or exploits, or deliberately abuse bugs;
- collude with other players, lose on purpose or use multiple accounts to move coins or rewards;
- interfere with the Game, its servers or other players' accounts;
- buy, sell or trade accounts, coins or items outside the Game.
Community rules
The Game has chat rooms, café chats, direct messages, table messages, profile photos, café names and descriptions. Before you first write anything other players can read, you must accept these rules. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Don't post:
- insults, swearing, hate speech, harassment, bullying or threats;
- sexual, violent or otherwise objectionable content, including in profile photos;
- advertising, spam, scams, links or offers to buy and sell accounts or coins;
- your own or anyone else's personal information;
- anything illegal or that pretends to be us or another person.
You can report any message or player in the Game and block players you don't want to hear from. We review reports within 24 hours. When content breaks these rules we remove it, and we may mute, suspend or permanently ban the player responsible. Profile photos are checked by our moderators before other players see them. Content you post remains yours, but you give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, show and moderate it within the Game for as long as it is there. You are responsible for what you post.
Suspension and termination
If you break these Terms, we may warn you, remove content, restrict features, take back coins or items gained unfairly, or suspend or terminate your account, depending on how serious the breach is. Where reasonable, we will tell you why. You can stop playing at any time and delete your account in the Game (Settings › Account › Delete account).
Changes and availability
The Game is a live service. We may change, update or remove features, content and rules, and we may need to take it offline for maintenance. We may stop operating the Game; if we do, we will give reasonable notice in the Game where possible. Some updates may be required to keep playing.
Our liability
The Game is provided "as is". We don't promise that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Intellectual property
The Game, its art, sounds, text and software belong to Cregsta or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer them, except as the law allows.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without affecting consumer protection rules of the country where you live. Disputes go to the competent courts, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
